Shimon’s way of working is characterized by a unique connection to nature and receiving inspiration from Safed’s Kabbalah spirit.

 In the process of creation, he goes out into the field and collects branches of olive trees and other trees that have fallen on the side of the road.  He looks deeply and out of respect for their natural form and beauty carves them and gives them a touch of holiness
