ΧShimon was born in Rishon LeZion in the center of the country.  Traveled around the world for many years.  He specialized in polishing gemstones, goldsmiths and jewelry design in Naples and India. After his marriage, he moved to the Galile.

 For about 20 years he ran a Judaica and jewelry gallery in the old city of Safed. Until he had to retire due to a medical problem
